Eleventh century. Distant and cold Iceland, shrouded in the sea surface. A country that is characterized not only by the abundance of snow and the aurora borealis, fascinating with its beauty, but also the place of residence of the great warriors - the Vikings. These brave people, believing in their powerful gods, were very strong, were not afraid of death, always strived to learn about unknown lands and conquer them. Thorfinn - the son of the great Torso, was no exception. Hearing the stories of Leif Eriksson, an old friend of his father's, about the great battles and travels of his parent, the boy dreamed of going far beyond his home. Soon, a series of events forced the great Thors to leave home and take up his sword again. Young Thorfinn tried with all his might to go with his father on such a desired adventure, but in response he heard only a firm "no". Not wanting to put up with this state of affairs, the boy secretly made his way to the drakkar, and his father belatedly found the "free rider", there was no turning back. So, young Thorfinn set off, and soon the ship came across the squad of Askeladd. The boy had to watch with horror the bloody battle with the mighty Askeladd, but the real shock was the loss of his own father. Miraculously emerging from the brutal slaughter, Thorfinn vowed not only to himself, but also to his enemy, to avenge the death of Torso. Thus he joined the squad of Askeladd. It is not for nothing that they say to keep friends close, and enemies even closer. The boy grew, became stronger and stronger and constantly tried to kill Askellad, but in vain. And the warrior only manipulated the boy. Years passed, Thorfinn became withdrawn, bitter, saw a lot and killed many. I met different people on my way: Knud, claiming the throne, Torkel, in love with battles, insidious Flocks of, the betrayed of Ragnar and many others, but his goal remained the same - to kill Askeladd. What happens if Thorfinn loses this target? How will fate turn? Will she give him a new goal to keep fighting and traveling, or will she destroy him irrevocably?
